Barton Solutions in the Canary Islands

We were asked by a client in the UK if we would install a lighting control system in their holiday home in the Canary Islands. The Apartment had already been wired for a conventional light switching so we had to carefully plan the optimum system to work alongside the exisiting spec.

After several meetings with the clients we suggested that we should install a Rako system as this can be retro fitted and create the whole home lighting control. The Project took 1 week for one of our engineers. We supplied, installed and commissioned.

For the 3 zone audio system we used B&W M1 satellite speakers for inside and Russound wall mounted speakers for the outdoor decking area. These were connected to a Russound multi-room amplifier with complete control of each zone. For the TV’s we used Pansonic LCD and plasmas. With Sky box’s for each room located in a central position with magic eyes connected to each TV.

Castle audio installation

We were asked to install a audio and visual system for the clients living room. They asked for two screens projector and TV screen. Surround sound system and a hand control to control all of the audio and visual equipment, Lutron lighting and Lutron blinds. They also asked for AV faceplates around the living area to plug in different pieces of equipment at later stages. We installed an Epson Projector 5800 and a Samsung LED TV for the screens. We used an electric recessed ceiling projector screen. B&W wall mounted surround sound speakers (FPM4’s) B&W subwoofer (ASW608).

These were connected to a NAD AV amplifier (T747). For the visual side we had to install a Intelix matrix switch 4X4 as we had HDMI faceplates, SKY HD and blue ray player to connect to each screen and the client wanted the capability to watch different things on different screens. Home Cinema Install

We were asked to install a home Cinema down in the basement and a TV in the living room. We originally priced to install a projector and electric projector screen down in the basement but as the job progressed the client said to us that the basement would be used quite a lot in the day and they would want to have the curtains left open so they could look at the views as well as watch the screen.

We suggested a TV screen would be best as the picture quality would be better in day light than a projector. So we installed a Samsung 42”LED screen and a Bose acoustimass surround sound system. We used Onkyo for the AV amplifier and DVD player, Sky HD and a Phillips Pronto TSU9600 to control all of the equipment. In the living room we installed a 26” Panasonic LCD onto an electric lift built into a cabinet so when not being watch would be completely hidden. We also installed a Humax freesat HD box and Onkyo DVD player. With a Phillips Pronto TSU9200 to control all of the equipment.
